Hatsukari-yaki

In the early Showa period, this potato confectionery was invented by Kashichi Yamazaki, the fifth generation owner of our shop, and was created by Torayoshi Yamada, the foreman at the time.

It is a potato senbei that is made by cutting sweet potatoes into thin slices, adding sesame seeds, grilling them with sandwiches, and adding molasses.
