◆Kitain

The early-blooming weeping cherry blossoms in the precincts and courtyard were at their peak.
The Yoshino cherry trees in the shrine grounds were not yet in bloom.

◆Intermediate Court

The Kohigan cherry blossoms near the Sanmon gate and the early-blooming weeping cherry blossoms on the grounds were at their best.

◆Along the Shinkawa River (Kawagoe Hikawa ShrineBack)

I found a few buds starting to swell on the branches of a sunny cherry tree behind Hikawa Kaikan.
The cherry blossoms (Somei Yoshino) from Miyashita Bridge to Taya Weir are not yet in bloom.

◆Renkeiji Temple(renkeiji)

The cherry blossoms planted in the precincts are about to start blooming in the spring sunlight.

◆Hatsukari Park

Hatsugan Stadium adjacent to Kawagoe Castle Honmaru Palace🥎Beside the stadium, the early weeping cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
Somei Yoshino cherry trees at neighboring Miyoshino Shrine and late-blooming weeping cherry trees near Honmaru Palace have not yet bloomed.

◆Around Isanuma (Isanuma Park）

The cherry blossoms (Someiyoshino cherry trees) that surround Isanuma have hard buds and seem to be a long way off from blooming.
The cherry blossoms in the adjacent Isanuma Park have not yet bloomed.

◆Other cherry blossom viewing spots

For your reference, we would like to inform you about the best time to see cherry blossoms in Kawagoe City in a typical year.
This year, the cherry blossoms in the city seem to be starting to bloom later overall, so the best time to see them will probably be a little later.
