Kawagoe Kimono Day Yukata Fashion Show - Now accepting participants! (Until August 8th)
We are once again looking for participants for Kawagoe's summer tradition, the Yukata Fashion Show!
Why not walk across the stage in your best yukata?
Groups of family and friends are welcome!
■ Event Overview
Date and time: Monday, August 7, 2025, 8:18 p.m. to 3:4 p.m.
Venue:Renkeiji Temple(Renkeiji) 7-1 Renjakucho, Kawagoe City *8 minutes walk from Honkawagoe Station
Participation fee: 1,000 yen per person (free for junior high school students and younger) *Observation: free
Reception starts: 13:30 (reception closes at 14:45)
■ Participation details
・Wear a yukata and walk around the stage individually or as a group
・Please pose in the center of the stage
・The host will introduce the contestants and introduce the key points of yukata
■ Application requirements
Target: Individuals or groups (maximum 1 people per group)
Number of participants: 50 people (groups) *Reservation required, first come first served
Application deadline: Wednesday, August 8th
*Applications may close once capacity is reached.
Participation fee payment method: Please pay at the reception on the day

■ Notes
・We do not provide dressing services at the venue.
・Transportation, dressing, hair and makeup, and cleaning fees are at your own expense
・Participation in samue or jinbei is not permitted.
・Please refrain from participating in any business activities, political or religious activities, or activities that violate public order and morals.
・The event may be canceled due to weather conditions, etc.
