51st Special Exhibition "Nogata and Satokata - Agriculture and Technology in Musashino"

A special exhibition will be held at Kawagoe City Museum that looks at the lives of people who lived in Musashino, mainly in the Kawagoe area, from the perspective of agriculture.

This exhibition commemorates the recognition of the "Musashino Leaf Compost Farming Method" as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System, and displays agricultural tools from Nogata and Satokata, including those used in the farming method, to introduce agriculture and its techniques in Kawagoe and the surrounding areas.

Opening hours: 9:5am to 4:30pm (entrance until XNUMX:XNUMXpm)

Closed: Every Monday (open on November 11th), November 4th (Tuesday), November 11nd (Friday)

Admission fee: Adults: 200 yen (160 yen) / University and high school students: 100 yen (80 yen) / Junior high school students and younger: Free
