Confectionery Yokocho

Kawagoe's famous spot is filled with about 30 confectionery shops on the cobblestone road studded with colorful glass.

Former Yamazaki family villa

It was built in 13 as a retreat for Mr. Kashichi Yamazaki, the fifth generation of Kawagoe's long-established confectionery shop "Uya".

Yamazaki Museum

The Yamazaki Museum of Art, which opened in 57, is located in the corner of the main store of the long-established Japanese sweets shop "Uya" facing the townscape of Kura-zukuri.

Hattori Folk Museum

Hattori family built after the Great Fire of Kawagoe in 26 (formerly, the terrifying business (sales of footwear and umbrellas) and the pharmaceutical industry (dispensing, sales of medicines, etc.))
